Dashboard

Your home base for monitoring brand visibility across AI answer engines at a glance.

Overview

The Dashboard is the first screen you see after signing in. It provides a real-time summary of how your brand is performing across AI answer engines, giving you the key metrics you need without digging through individual snapshots or reports.

Think of the Dashboard as your daily health check for AI visibility.

Metric Cards

Five primary metric cards are displayed at the top of the Dashboard. Each card provides a single, focused number with a trend indicator so you can assess performance in seconds.

MetricWhat It MeasuresHow It's Calculated
Mention RatePercentage of AI responses that mention your brandSnapshots containing at least one brand mention divided by total snapshots, over the past 7 days. Includes a trend arrow comparing to the prior period. (Previously labeled "Brand Visibility".)
Total PromptsNumber of prompts actively being trackedCount of all prompts in the current project with an active status
Snapshots TodayNumber of AI response captures taken todayCount of snapshots recorded since midnight (your local time)
Avg Rank PositionYour brand's average position in numbered listsMean rank across all snapshots where your brand appeared in a ranked list (lower is better). Trend arrow is inverted — a decrease is positive.
Sentiment ScoreOverall positive sentiment percentagePercentage of snapshots with positive sentiment classification, with trend compared to the prior period

Reading the Numbers

  • Mention Rate trending upward means AI engines are mentioning your brand more frequently. A rate above 60% is generally strong; below 30% indicates significant room for improvement.
  • Avg Rank Position of 1.0 means your brand is consistently listed first. A value of 3.0 or higher suggests competitors may be outranking you in AI-generated lists.
  • Snapshots Today helps you confirm that automated captures are running as expected. If this number is unexpectedly low, check your schedule configuration.
  • Sentiment Score above 70% indicates AI engines describe your brand favorably. A declining trend may signal a reputation issue to investigate.

Setup Progress Card

If your project setup is incomplete, a Setup Progress card appears prominently on the Dashboard. It displays:

  • A progress bar showing how many of the 7 setup steps are complete (e.g., "3 of 7 completed")
  • A visual checklist of key steps: Business Profile, LLM Configuration, API Keys, Locations, Prompts
  • A Continue Setup button linking directly to the next incomplete step

This card disappears automatically once all required setup steps are finished.

Visibility Trend Chart

Below the metric cards, a 7-day visibility trend chart (area chart) shows your brand mention rate over the past week. This provides an at-a-glance view of whether visibility is improving, declining, or stable.

Click the chart or the View Analytics link to open the full Analytics page with extended date ranges and deeper breakdowns.

LLM Performance Chart

A horizontal bar chart compares your brand visibility by AI model. This highlights which AI engines mention your brand most frequently and which ones are underperforming.

Use this to identify optimization priorities — if one major AI engine consistently underrepresents your brand, it may warrant targeted content improvements.

Recent Snapshots

The Dashboard includes a Recent Snapshots table showing the last 5 captures. Each row displays:

  • Prompt text — The question that was sent
  • Model — Which AI engine responded (with a colored badge)
  • Status — "Mentioned" or "Not Mentioned" badge
  • Time — Relative timestamp (e.g., "2 hours ago")

Click any row to view the full snapshot details, or click View All Snapshots to see the complete history.

A grid of quick action cards provides one-click access to common workflows:

  • Prompts & Rankings — Jump to the Prompts page to add, edit, or prioritize the questions being sent to AI models
  • Insights & Actions — Open AI-powered recommendations based on your snapshot data
  • Sentiment Analysis — View how AI engines perceive and describe your brand
  • Setup Wizard — Return to the setup wizard to complete or update your configuration
  • Usage & Costs — Review your monthly API usage and costs (shows current month's total cost)

When to Check the Dashboard

The Dashboard is most useful when reviewed on a regular cadence:

Daily

  • Snapshots Today: Confirm that automated captures are running. If the number is zero by midday, investigate your snapshot schedule or LLM configuration.
  • Mention Rate: Spot any sudden drops that may indicate a change in AI model behavior or training data.

Weekly

  • Mention Rate trend: Compare the trend chart to the previous week. Consistent growth means your AEO strategy is working.
  • Avg Rank Position: Track whether your rank is improving or declining. Even a half-point improvement over several weeks is meaningful.
  • Sentiment Score: Watch for negative shifts that may require attention.

After Content Updates

Whenever you publish new content, update your website, or make significant changes to your online presence, check the Dashboard within 48-72 hours. AI models may take time to reflect changes, but monitoring after updates helps you measure the impact of your efforts.

Tip: Bookmark the Dashboard as your browser's startup page for the project. A quick glance each morning takes less than 30 seconds and keeps you informed.

What the Dashboard Does Not Show

The Dashboard is intentionally high-level. For deeper analysis, use the dedicated pages:
